In the mid 90's, the concept known as "interior redesign" really took off, when the cable network Home & Garden Television (HGTV) began to air their popular program, Decorating Cents. The show includes a segment featuring interior redesign. In addition to being one of the first redesign professionals to be chosen for Decorating Cents, Ms. Kinnaman went on to work with the show for its entire ten year run. Many redesign professionals were able to showcase their talents on the show over the years.

Previously run redesign segments continue to air weekdays on HGTV's Decorating Cents -- even though the show taped its last new show in December 2006 in New York City. One of the interior-redesign-exchange listing members, Kelly Edge of Lake Forest, California, was on hand for that last taping.

Decorating Cents led the trend of television shows that presented interior redesign as an affordable alternative to traditional interior design. This coverage, along with features in national newspapers and magazines, offers continual exposure and spreads the word about this fabulous design concept.
